This gets used a bunch. Also have an AKG-414, AT-4033, 4041, 4050, a CAD Equitek E-300. Blue Mouse (2), Geffell M-300 (2), an old AKG 451.<\/p>\n<p>Ribbon mics: Coles 4038, RCA BK-5, Beyer M-500, Shure SM-33, and an old 60s Oktava.<br \/>\nMICROPHONE PRE-AMPS:<\/p>\n<p>API 312 (9), or Hamptone Tube (2), AEA TRP (2), Ampex (5&#215;1). Plus, I have a bunch of various \u201clo-fi\u201d mic pres which can be fun.<\/p>\n<p>EQ:<\/p>\n<p>I have what\u2019s in the board (Soundcraft Ghost), API (2), Millenia (2), Orban (1).<\/p>\n<p>COMPRESSORS:<\/p>\n<p>Locomotive Audio 14B, Universal Audio 1176, LA-2A, Manley VariMu, DBX (assorted), Ashley, MXR, RNC.<\/p>\n<p>TIME BASED:<\/p>\n<p>Echo: Ibanez AD-202 (2), Digitech digital delay (don\u2019t laugh ~ it\u2019s cool!).<\/p>\n<p>Reverb: Klark Teknik DN780, Tapco spring reverb, a couple other old spring reverbs.<\/p>\n<p>Lot\u2019s of other weird effects and stomp boxes (plus a re-amp so they are all usable on a line-level track).<\/p>\n<p>RECORDING PLATFORMS:<\/p>\n<p>Tape:<br \/>\nOtari MX-80 2-inch 24 track (currently in storage).<br \/>\nOtari MX5050 MkIII 1\/2-inch 8 track.<br \/>\nTascam 1\/4-inch 4 track.<br \/>\nOtari 5050 1\/4 \u2013inch 2 track.<br \/>\nCassette 4-tracks (Tascam &amp; Yamaha)<br \/>\nCassette decks (don\u2019t laugh. They have their uses.)<\/p>\n<p>Digital:<br \/>\nProtools with Apogee Symphony 16&#215;16.<br \/>\nAlesis Masterlink 2 track.<br \/>\nZoom digital 2 track.<\/p>\n<p>INSTRUMENTS:<\/p>\n<p>Lot\u2019s of keyboards, amps, guitars, basses, banjo, uke, tiple, dulcimer, piano, organ, percussion, drums. Blue Rooms hourly rate is $45 and sessions can be as short as a couple hours.<\/p>\n<p>That gets you:<br \/>\nMe engineering<br \/>\nThe studio<br \/>\nAccess to&nbsp; instruments.<\/p>\n<p>Blue Rooms is my personal and professional studio . It\u2019s awesome and vibey but not perfect for every situation. I don\u2019t do loud projects at Blue Rooms as it is in a residential neighborhood. &nbsp;I also freelance at other studios (or your rehearsal space, etc.) as an engineer, producer and\/or player.
